Performing the task of supplying power to meet the needs of socio-economic development of the country, in 2015, EVNGENCO1 produced 17.99 billion kWh.
In which, the dependent accounting units (including Duyen Hai 1 thermal power plant) produced more than 8.18 billion kWh, its subsidiaries and associated companies produced 9.81 billion kWh.

2013-2015 period:
EVNGENCO 1 produced 50.27 billion kWh
In which, the dependent accounting units generated 23.6 billion kWh, its subsidiaries and associated companies generated 26.6 billion kWh.
Implementing the construction investment:
- Commencement of 4 projects: coal import port of Duyen Hai Power Center; Duyen Hai 3 plant expansion plant; Da Nhim hydropower plant expansion and Lower Se San 2 hydropower plant;
- Putting into commercial operation of power plants: Khe Bo, Expansion of Uong Bi 2, Quang Ninh 2 (units 1 and 2);
- Putting Duyen Hai 1 plant (units 1 and 2) into operation.

Regarding major repairs, units of the Corporation completed them in compliance with the required schedule.
Regarding construction investment, the Corporation has put 2 units of Duyen Hai 1 thermal power project into operation to generate power to the national grid, contributing to sufficiently supply power to the Southern power system south during the gas cutting from PM3 and during the last months of 2015.
Besides, the expansion project of Da Nhim has also been commenced. Duyen Hai Power Center port project was put into operation, receiving coal, oil for Duyen Hai 1 thermal power project. Also, the Duyen Hai Power Center infrastructure project has supplied water to meet the requirements for operating Duyen Hai 1 and Duyen Hai 3 projects.
Along with the task of power production, trading and investment management of power generation projects, EVNGENCO 1 has efficiently performed the optimization of costs, so that the holding corporation’s revenue was increased by VND 415 billion in 2015.
The operation of the units has met the optimization criteria required by EVN. The number of subjective interruptions of the units was decreased, the rate of consumption of coal and oil was improved compared with those of 2014.
EVNGENCO 1 achieved the target of ensuring progress of Duyen Hai 3 project; early putting the power plants in Duyen Hai power center into commercial operation at the design capacity.
