Phu Xuyen 110kV substation officially energized and put into operation
According to EVNHANOI, the power demand in Phu Xuyen district keeps increasing, neighboring power sources such as Tia 110kV substation (Thuong Tin district), are now at full load, in the future only enough for economic development in Thuong Tin district, medium voltage support to Phu Xuyen district is negligible.
In addition, the urban and supporting industry area in Phu Xuyen district (south of Hanoi) has been approved by the Prime Minister, and when it comes into operation, the source and grid in present condition of the region as at present would not be able to meet the load demand in the near future.
Therefore, the completion of Phu Xuyen 110kV substation will solve the difficulties in power sources for the locality, because at present in Hanoi, only Phu Xuyen district has no 110kV substation, which greatly affects the local socio-economic development.
The substation is invested in modern technology. In addition to the control and protection system of electrical equipment according to industry standards, there is also a pit system and a transformer oil collection tank, meeting the requirements of fire prevention and fighting. The substation is powered by two bays from 173, 174 E10.4 feeders and is equipped with two 63MVA transformers.
The project had a very large workload, requiring stakeholders to focus, inspect, supervise, coordinate and implement in a scientific and effective way, while giving priority to solutions, measures to improve and rationalize production to ensure the correct schedule and quality required by EVNHANOI, Director of the Power Grid Project Management Board (a member of EVNHANOI) Nguyen Dang Phong said.
The successful energizing and putting into operation in the coming time will have important implications for the southern urban and industrial chain as well as promoting socio-economic development in the entire project area in particular and in Hanoi in general.
