EVNHCMC: Taking care of customers more effectively thanks to digitization

EVNHCMC Customer Service App of  Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) has been deployed since 2015 and has been upgraded once. Currently, more than 1 million customers use the App - accounting for nearly 50% of the enterprise's customers.

Since 2015, EVNHCMC rapidly developed EVNHCMC Customer Service APP (the APP) in parallel with implementing an effective telemetry system, providing a number of new services that actively empowered customers to monitor and check their electricity usage and at the same time monitor the service quality of the Electricity industry at any time, anywhere.

The telemetry system not only collects electricity indicators remotely to calculate electricity bills for customers but also provides some additional information related to the customer's electricity usage situation such as warning cases of abnormal increase/decrease in power usage, warning operating parameters about current, voltage, power factor, etc.

These warnings will be automatically sent to customers via the App, Zalo, email, etc. Thereby, customers can actively build a more flexible, efficient, and economical electricity use plan, contributing to protecting the environment and reducing costs for families and society.

Accessing the APP, customers will see a graph of daily power consumption, helping them understand the highest and lowest consumption of power by day so that they can adjust their usage behavior. When entering the "View detailed table" section, customers will clearly see the meter readings and the amount of power consumed by day.

For customers using large amounts of power through specialized substations, EVNHCMC provides daily power usage charts, capacity charts, currents, power factors, etc., with a frequency of 30 minutes/time for customers to remotely monitor the power system in near real-time. This is very meaningful to exploit data in production and business activities.

Through the APP, electricity users quickly receive warnings of abnormal cases of the power system to coordinate with the Electricity sector to check and handle them promptly to minimize power failures on the system, ensuring a stable, continuous, and safe power supply, as well as improving the reliability of power supply.

According to the Customer Care Center of EVNHCMC, in the coming time, EVNHCMC will continue to upgrade and supplement more advanced features to make it easier for customers to use the App. For example, improving the responsiveness of services, tracking the route of electricians, making free calls through the APP, etc., especially, providing advanced consulting support, and selecting consulting personnel via the APP, emphasized Mr. Phan Hoang San, Director of Customer Care Center of EVNHCMC.
