According to the announcement of AIBP, Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation was presented with the ASEAN Enterprise Innovation Award for “harnessing the strength of business automation tools in EVNHCMC’s smart grid journey.”
The announcement on AIBP's website reads: “As a leading utility provider in Vietnam, EVNHCMC has continued to implement digital transformation across 7 key indices in their Smart Grid Development Road Map, such as the implementation of business automation tools like Artificial Intelligence (AI) to ensure better monitoring and control of electricity supply and improve cyber-resiliency.”

Up to now, EVNHCMC has developed its smart grid in Ho Chi Minh City with all components in accordance with international standards, including Monitoring and control; Data analysis; Power supply reliability; Distributed energy integration; Green energy; Security and privacy; Customer empowerment and customer satisfaction, added Mr. Luan Quoc Hung.
In 2022, there are more than 180 nominations for the award from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam; of which 40 nominees are finalists to select the 10 most excellent enterprises.
