On 10 January 2022, in Hanoi, EVN Information and Communication Technology Company (EVNICT) held a Conference to summarize the work performance in 2021 and deploy the tasks in 2022.
Safe and reliable operation of separated IT and telecommunications systems
In 2021, the company researched new technologies such as AI, Bigdata, Cloud, information technology architecture platforms for businesses, modern tools for the system; while ensuring stable operation, upgrading the separated telecommunications system and the Group's IT infrastructure. Specifically:
Mr. Vo Quang Lam - Deputy General Director of EVN acknowledging and highly appreciating the achievements made by EVNICT in 2021
- Operating more than 1,000 online meetings for EVN and its units, contributing to ensuring the direction and operation of EVN in the context of complicated pandemic developments.
- Developing and upgrading the Group's shared software such as CMIS 3.0 software calibration for the supporting, for 3 times, the reduction in electricity unit prices and charges for customers;
- Successfully deploying the Digital Office system;
- Adding more utilities for construction investment software 2.0;
- Completing Business intelligence system (BI), meeting the Group's areas of expertise.

In 2021, EVNICT won the top 10 IT enterprises awarded by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association in the field of digital transformation service and solution providers.

Play an important role in EVN's digital transformation
EVN Deputy General Director Vo Quang Lam requested that in 2022, the company needs to focus resources on accelerating progress and completing 32 tasks in the fields of digital transformation, including key tasks assigned by the group such as EVN's Cloud project; the project of establishing the E-Business Suite and the Master Data Management (EBS/MDM); the project of building a database architecture and a shared data warehouse; the project of building enterprise architecture, etc. Along with that, EVNICT needs to strongly apply supporting platforms and tools in the development of software systems; modernizing customer care service, and soon. These are the basis for the company to improve labor productivity, be more flexible and adaptive, to ensure the tasks assigned by the group.

EVNICT needs to propose solutions to equip the IP channel monitoring system for the nationwide operating department as well as operating the facilities, in order to minimize the incidents; promote the building of research and application teams of new technologies of Industrial Revolution 4.0.
