EVNNPC organizes many activities towards the Central region in the Customer Gratitude Month 2020

With a total budget of about VND17 billion, the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) will implement many meaningful and practical activities in the Customer Gratitude Month 2020, including activities supporting the people in the Central region who have been affected by natural disasters and floods.

EVNNPC presented warm clothes for students in difficult circumstances at Ta Lanh Kindergarten (Van Chan, Yen Bai) in the Customer Gratitude Month 2019

Specifically, EVNNPC will donate 140 sets of desktop computers with a total budget of VND1.4 billion to a number of schools in two provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh, which have suffered the historic flood in October 2020 and natural disasters in 2020.

The Youth Union of the Corporation will carry out a series of voluntary and social security activities towards the Central region in Thanh Chuong district (Nghe An province) and two districts of Cam Xuyen and Thach Ha (Ha Tinh province) such as: awarding composite canoes to localities in service in the rainy and flood season; installing rooftop solar PV systems in cultural houses, medical stations, etc.; performing works to light up country roads; giving warm clothes and teaching aids to some schools and families in difficult circumstances who have suffered great losses after the flood, etc.

In addition, Provincial Power Companies will coordinate with central and local authorities, Trade Unions, Youth Unions, and power units in the area to launch and jointly, effectively implement various programs such as: cleaning substations for customers free of charge; installing lights in medical establishments, schools; aiding in repairing electrical systems in households, replacing wires after meters, replacing light bulbs, funding for repairing damaged electrical appliances for families under preferential treatment policy, poor families, near-poor families, families with meritorious services to the revolution, lonely and disadvantaged families.

Implementing the program "When drinking water, remember its source”, the Corporation's member units have donated gifts and repaired electrical systems for families of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, families of the power sector’s employees whose relatives are martyrs; and implementing the program "Enlightening the trust", they sponsor scholarships, donate books and clothes at schools in remote areas, etc.

EVNNPC's activities demonstrating the customer gratitude are regularly carried out from the perspective of improving the quality of electricity service, meeting the needs of customers in a professional and conscientious manner.
