EVNNPC provides efficient electrical services to customers on digital platforms

With the application of 4.0 technologies and digital technology into business and customer services, Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) has been effectively providing electrical services to customers, bringing convenience to power customers.

According to EVNNPC, in August 2022, the rate of electricity services by the electronic method of the whole corporation reached 99.94%. In the first 8 months of the year, the rate of providing services by electronic means reached 99.45%. Besides, in August 2022, the level-4 electricity service provision rate reached 99.98%; accumulated for 8 months, reaching 99.5%.

According to EVNNPC, the percentage of customers who have not yet been able to apply electricity services by electronic mode or level-4 electricity services, are mainly customers in mountainous, remote and isolated areas, the elderly not using smartphones; or no equipment to authenticate information electronically.

In particular, in 2022, EVNNPC has promoted customer care through Zalo, thereby, greatly saving SMS messaging costs in customer care. Specifically, by the end of August 2022, the whole corporation had 4.95 million customers registered to receive messages via Zalo, an increase of 946,648 customers compared to the same period in 2021, accounting for 45.11% of the total number of customers managed by the corporation. The number of messages via Zalo in the first 8 months of 2022 reached 70.02 million messages, contributing to saving about VND 21 billion.

The rate of customers paying electricity bills in non-cash form by the end of August 2022 reached 81.53%, 10.13% higher than the target assigned by EVN; revenue through the cashless payment channel reached 95.11%.

In August 2022, EVNNPC also received and resolved power supply for 230 medium voltage customers, the average time to process the procedures of the Power sector is 3.55 days. As accumulated in the first 8 months of 2022, the whole corporation received and resolved the power supply for 1,704 medium voltage customers, the average time to handle the procedures of the Power sector was 3.78 days; decreasing by 0.39 days compared to the same period in 2021; 3.22 days lower than the regulations of EVN.

In the first 8 months of the year, EVNNPC's commercial electricity reached 56.75 billion kWh, up 4.64% over the same period and is currently ranked the first among the 5 power corporations; in which, the commercial and service components grew the most, with an increase of 22.41%.
