Over the past 13 years, many meaningful and practical activities in response to Earth Hour have been widely deployed by Northern Power Corporation throughout 27 northern provinces and cities such as distributing leaflets and posters, printing and distributing free safely economically and efficiently power-use guidance materials; organizing events in response to the campaign, hanging banners at the headquarters; planting trees; waste collection and recycling, etc.

To actively respond to the Earth Hour 2022 campaign, EVNNPC has directed its power companies and member units to carry out propaganda and promotion activities for the campaign suitable to the characteristics of each unit and each location in the complicated situation context of the COVID-19 pandemic. EVNNPC's member units have also posted campaign information on channels such as the website, Customer Care Application, cskh.npc.com.vn website, Customer Service Fanpage and Zalo of the corporation.
At the ceremony, leaders of EVNNPC called on power customers, agencies, organizations, businesses and individuals, etc. in 27 northern provinces and cities to switch-off lights and unnecessary electrical equipment from 20:30 to 21:30 on Saturday, 26 March 2022 to respond to Earth Hour.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Tho - Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee said that, in the current context, the urgent issue is how to reduce plastic bags, plastic, etc. emissions causing pollution into the environment; at the same time, implementing solutions to increase energy saving and efficiency.
From now on, each individual should join hands taking practical actions together from daily living habits such as refusing to use plastic bags and single-use plastic things; using energy-saving devices; turning off and unplugging electrical equipment when not in use; using public transport, bicycles and eco-friendly vehicles to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
