Delegates performing project groundbreaking ceremony
This is a special-level energy project, group B, located in An Binh commune, Phu Giao district, Binh Duong province.
The project’s scale comprises the construction of a 500/220kV substation including two transformers of 500/220/35kV - 900MVA, of which one transformer of 500/220/35kV - 900MVA will be fully installed in this phase. The 500kV side uses a 3/2 diagram including 5 feeders; the 220kV side uses a diagram of 2 busbar systems with ring busbars including 7 feeders.
Once completed, the project will help improve the reliability of electricity supply for Binh Duong province and the Southern economic development region; supporting capacity and preventing overload for 500kV Song May and Tan Dinh substations, ensuring the safe operation of the power transmission system.
Currently, the site clearance work for the project has been basically completed, the Central Region Power Project Management Board has requested construction contractors and supervision consultants to enhance and mobilize their workforces, coordinate closely with the project management unit and related units to implement the project with ensured quality and on schedule, striving to complete energization in 2024 according to the direction of EVNNPT.
