EVNSPC: 263 distribution power network projects put into operation within 9 months

This is the result of the construction investment gained by the Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC), as by the end of September 2018, in order to increase the capacity of supplying power to customers in 21 Southern provinces and cities.

The 263 distribution power network projects have been put into operation with the total quantity of 497km of newly-built 22kV lines, 251km of renovated 22kV lines, 502km of newly-constructed low voltage lines, 1,040km of rehabilitated low voltage lines and total capacity of distribution station at 116MVA.
Also, since the beginning of 2018, EVNSPC has commenced 31/60 of 110kV power network projects, completed the energizing and putting into operation 2/2 of 220kV projects and 23/83 of 110kV power network projects.
Assessing on the implementation of construction investment in the past nine months, EVNSPC said that due to difficulties in the work of compensation and site clearance, some projects were delayed in energizing progress such as 110kV substation and the connection line of Giang Dien Industrial Park (Dong Nai), 19 positions of power posts have still not yet cleared and compensated, the given compensation rate was not agreed on by most of the land owners.
According to the plan, in the fourth Quarter of 2018, EVNSPC is going to commence at least twenty-nine 110kV power network projects and complete energizing at least twenty-six 110kV power network projects.
