For the EVN side, Vice President Nguyen Tai Anh welcomed Great Power's proposals on energy storage solutions. According to EVN's leaders, Vietnam currently does not have specific standards for this technology. The establishment of technical standards for energy storage technology in Vietnam will be conducted by the Ministry of Science and Technology. The Ministry of Industry and Trade will play the role of manager in evaluating and approving energy storage technology. Therefore, Vice President Nguyen Tai Anh proposed that the two sides should coordinate reports with relevant ministries, departments, and sectors to formulate a cooperation program to develop standards for energy storage technology in Vietnam.
At the end of the meeting, Vice President Nguyen Tai Anh sincerely thanked the delegation for their attention to the Group and said that EVN always welcomes partners interested in investment and cooperation in the energy sector.
