Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tuan - Head of Telecommunications and Information Technology Department (EVN) said that over the past time, the development and application of shared software systems at EVN had gained many positive results.
Particularly, the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) helps the Group effectively manage over 102 thousand staffs and employees. The system can effectively manage all processes related to staff management, from the process of appointing, dismissing, developing next staff generation, etc., to that of registering and approving programs, plans, training contents and finally managing students through to the HRMS software.
With the e-office system, the Group can manage, categorize documents, and digital signature workflows with all basic functions such as forwarding/receiving incoming/outgoing documents and many advanced features such as managing tasks/instructions/resolutions issued by the Member Council, the General Director and assigned to Departments, units; conducting the digital signature for document reference number on the system; organizing the management of work records. So far, this software system has been put into use in among units under the Group.

In the field of business and customer services, the customer management information system (CMIS) is developed and consistently performed with the CMIS software for power customers in 5 power corporations. This is also the core software system to comprehensively support the field of electricity sale.
The system consists of functional software that performs requirements under the process of electricity business and customer services (25 electricity services), applying 100% digital signature in issuing customer invoices, confirming the internal delivery and receipt of power among the units under the Group; digitizes power purchase agreemenst and provides online electricity services. So far, the provision of electricity services to customers has reached equivalently the level 3 in the field of public administrative service provision of the Government.
Additionally, many other utility softwares are being performed by EVN such as electronic bill system; power source and power grid technical management system (PMIS); measured data management software system; electronic meter data collection software (EVNHES), etc.
The names of work tasks by each field in the Group are basically unified in the shared software systems, meeting the core business in management of units for: Financing and accounting; materials - assets; technical management; electricity sales and customer services; HR management; office administration.

Meeting the requirement for increasing annual productivity of power production and business by 8-10% and particularly in the context of applying the achievements from the industrial revolution 4.0, the information technology (IT) sector shall meet the increasing requirements of the management tasks. Thus, EVN will, in the coming time, develop the overall structure, technology standards, data structure for its shared softwares, ensuring future integrity and extensibility. All shared softwares and specific softwares developed by units shall comply with common technology structure, standards, data structure and be approved by the Group prior to implementation.
Particularly, EVN will apply data processing technology of Big Data, applications of WebService, DataBus, CIM standard and international standards to link and integrate data from shared software systems of EVN in the fields of: Engineering, investment, finance, business and some other fields.
EVN continues to complete the shared OMS software system (incident management) system, connect data exploitation from SCADA system, electronic meter data collection system, proactively detect and promptly handle incidents, provide customer care information, accurately calculate SAIFI, SAIDI. EVN will deploy application software, provide electricity services equivalently level 4 of public administrative services.
In order to do so, EVN shall continue to strengthen the training of high-quality human resources, promptly develop a team of experts with international IT certificates, meeting the requirements of developing, performing, applying, operating the shared management software system in the whole Group.
