To attract customers to participate in electricity bill payments without cash, the Hanoi Power Corporation and the Southern Power Corporation are coordinating with ZaloPay to allow customers to own a pair of round-trip tickets to Taiwan. Specifically, from now until 4 July 2023, 13 customers with the total value of successful payment of the highest electricity bill via ZaloPay will receive the program's gifts.
Meanwhile, Central Power Corporation is implementing a cooperation program with Viettel Money to allow customers to win a Vespa Primavera motorbike worth 80 million VND. New subscribers Electricity customers of Viettel Money from the time of program implementation and all existing Viettel Money subscribers can participate in the program. Customers only need to make at least one payment transaction or pay an electricity bill via a QR code with a minimum transaction value of 20,000 VND at payment acceptors, service experience points of Viettel Money, and partners (VNPAY, Payoo). The lucky draw program will last from 28 April 2023 to 6 July 2023.
Another promotion is also taking place, that is, Northern Power Corporation and Momo Wallet offer a preferential program for customers to pay electricity bills through this e-wallet. Accordingly, customers who have never paid electricity bills on MoMo, when implementing the transaction, will receive a gift combo worth VND 70,000. The program runs until 30 June 2023.

EVN saves about VND 2,700 billion per year
At the recent conference "Data connection, smart payment - social development promotion", Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung - Head of EVN's Business Department shared, EVN always aims for convenience, providing a good experience for customers. Currently, customers only need to install the application (app) of the Power sector to be able to immediately perform the work as required, without having to meet the staff of the Power sector.

The implemented solutions have dramatically changed EVN's electricity bill payment. With non-cash payment methods, according to calculations, EVN saves 13,000 workers, estimated to save VND 2,700 billion per year (from meter reading to electricity bill collection). Thereby, solutions contribute to improving the efficiency of the EVN's production and business activities; reducing costs of electricity prices and reducing pressure on electricity retail price increase.
