The project scope consists of replacement of the existing 220kV, 125 MVA transformer AT2 with a 220 kV, 250 MVA transformer at Cao Lanh 220 kV substation, rehabilitation of the foundation, replacement and supplementation of equipment in conformity with the new transformer.
The project has a total investment of more than VND 112 billion. The project is owned and invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) and managed by PTC4 on behalf of the project owner.
The energization of transformer AT2 at 220 kV Cao Lanh substation would meet the increasing load demand and the speed of economic and social development of Dong Thap province in the upcoming years.
