Energizing 2nd circuit of Tuy Hoa - Nha Trang 220kV line

Power Transmission Company No. 3 (PTC 3) has coordinated with relevant units to energize and put the 2nd circuit of the Tuy Hoa - Nha Trang 220kV line into operation. This is the work to welcome the 128th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh and the 10th establishment anniversary of the National Transmission Corporation (1 July, 2008 - 1 July, 2018) of the unit.

The project is invested with a total amount of nearly VND 162.8 billion by the National Transmission Corporation.

Project scale: Improving foundation - pillar, replacing fittings, ceramic insulators, replacing the existing conductors ACSR 240/39 by ACSR/Mz400/51 to operate the voltage rate of 220kV (2^nd circuit) with a total length of 128.8km; newly constructing a 220kV feeder at Tuy Hoa 220kV substation; expanding the substation newly constructing a 220kV feeder at Nha Trang 220kV substation.

The project, after being energized and put into operation, will contribute to improving the transmission capacity of the Tuy Hoa - Nha Trang 220kV transmission line, supply power to Khanh Hoa and Phu Yen provinces, while improve the reliability in power supply, reduce technical losses of power, improve the voltage quality on the regional transmission grid.
