The Dak Ooc 220kV Switching Station belongs to the Project of Dak Ooc 220kV Switching Station and the 220kV transmission lines connecting the Nam Emoun Hydropower Plant to the Vietnam power system.
The Dak Ooc Switching Station is located in La Dee commune, Nam Giang district, Quang Nam province with a construction scale of 10 220kV bays, in this phase, 6 equipment bays will be installed.

The connection lines include a 02-circuit 220kV line (suspension 01 circuit) from Nam Emoun Hydropower Plant to Dak Ooc 220kV Switching Station (section in Vietnam territory) with a length of about 13.4km; construction of a 04-circuit 220kV line, with a length of about 1.9km from Dak Ooc 220kV Switching Station to the transition point of the existing Xekaman 3 - Thanh My 220kV double-circuit line; and the construction of 22kV line to supply power for construction and self-consumption power from the local grid to Dak Ooc 220kV Switching Station with a length of about 1.077km.
Commenced on July 25, 2022, overcoming many difficulties during the construction process, Dak Ooc 220kV Switching Station Project has successfully energized. It is expected that the connecting lines will be completed and energized in August 2024.
Dak Ooc 220kV Switching Station
When put into operation, the project will contribute to transmitting electricity from the Nam Emoun Hydropower Plant (Laos) to the Vietnam power system, implementing the energy cooperation policy between the two countries.
