The project has a total investment cost of VND231 billion, invested by EVNNPC and assigned to the Power Grid Project Management Board of EVNNPC to manage and operate.

The project started on 22 October 2019, comprising: building a new 110kV substation with a capacity of 2 x 40MVA (in the first phase, installing one transformer); building a new 110kV single-circuit transmission line from Hiep Hoa 500kV substation to Tan Yen 110kV substation with a length of 30.9km; building a new 110kV single-circuit transmission line from the Tan Yen 110kV substation to Cau Go 110kV substation with a length of 14.4km; building 3 new 35kV power lines with a total length of 8.5km.

The project of Tan Yen 110kV substation and power line is one of the key power projects in Bac Giang province, with the aim of supplying electricity for Dong Dinh Industrial Complex and serving the people in Tan Yen district; at the same time, the project creates a loop to link with Hiep Hoa, Viet Yen, Yen The, Lang Giang 110kV substations, ensuring flexibility in power supply.
