This is a grade I, group B energy project, with a total investment cost of more than VND 482 billion.
The project is invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation, and the Northern Power Projects Management Board (NPMB) takes charge of managing and implementing the project.
AT1 transformer at Yen Hung 220kV substation
Yen Hung 220kV substation (250MVA) is located in Minh Thanh ward, Quang Yen town, Quang Ninh province. The connection line from Yen Hung 220kV substation goes through Bac Son and Nam Khe wards in Uong Bi city; Minh Thanh and Dong Mai wards in Quang Yen town, Quang Ninh province.
The completion of the project meets the requirement of electricity supply for loads in Quang Ninh province in this year's dry season. In addition, it creates a strong interconnection between regions in the power system, increases the safe and stable operation of the national power system, enhances the stability of power supply, reduces capacity loss and power loss in the system, improves the production and business efficiency of EVNNPT.
