The work costs a total of VND 1,246 billion invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) with CPMB on behalf of the project management operator.

The project’s scale is new construction of Viet Tri 500kV substation (including 1 500kV - 450MVA transformer, 2 500kV outgoing feeders, one 500kV resistance feeder, seven 220kV feeders, and 220kV general feeders, contact breaker compartments, loop breakers).

Additionally, the connecting lines are constructed, including: the 500kV branch section, double circuit connecting from Viet Tri 500kV substation to Son La - Hiep Hoa 500kV transmission line of about 2.29km long.

The 220kV branch section, four circuits connecting from Viet Tri 500kV substation to Viet Tri - Vinh Tuong and Viet Tri - Vinh Yen 220kV transmission lines of about nearly 16km long.

The operation of project will help strengthen the connection between the Phu Tho Province’s power grid and the national one; reducing the general loss of the system.
