EVN Deputy General Director Ngo Son Hai speaks at the Seminar
In recent years, Vietnam Electricity (EVN) has promoted digital transformation, constantly applying the achievements of the industrial revolution 4.0 to its operation fields. The Group is taking advantage of digital technology and digital data power to improve production and business efficiency, create new added values, and pay special attention to the application of digital transformation in technology management and power sources and power grids operation.
At the seminar, the delegates listened to the Technical and Production Department (EVN) presenting an overview of the EVN power system and the challenges in operation management in 2022 and the following years.
Delegates and speakers outside of EVN include a representative of JERA Vietnam Energy Co., Ltd. presented the topic "Overview of digital power plants"; AES Vietnam Co., Ltd presented the topic "Operation and management at Mong Duong 2 BOT thermal power plant"; China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd (CSG) presented the topic "Building a digital power grid to promote the grid operation and management transformation" and the topic "Transmission grid digitalization: digital technology and artificial intelligence in the operation and maintenance of the transmission grid”; TNB Power Group (Malaysia) presented the topic "TNB's distribution grid asset management strategy: Prospects through digitization and data analysis".

This seminar contributes to promoting the digital transformation application process in EVN's technical management, towards the goal that EVN will basically complete digital transformation by 2022 and become an enterprise operating in the digital environment by 2025.
