Mr. Nguyen Van Hop - Chairman and General Director of EVNSPC donating gratitude houses to households in Bu Dop (Binh Phuoc)
After 2 months of construction in the conditions of rain, remote areas, difficult transportation of construction materials, with the support from the District Fatherland Front Committee and commune authorities, Binh Phuoc Power Company urged, supervised and ensured the good quality, prompt progress and completion of 10 gratitude houses in Communes of Tan Tien (6 houses), Thanh Hoa (2 houses), Hung Phuoc (1 house) and Thanh Binh town (1 house).
Each house has an average area of 55m2, constructed with brick wall, roof of metal sheet, tiled floor. Total construction cost is VND 645 million, particularly, including VND 500 million donated by EVNSPC and VND 145 million by local Fund for the poor.
At the handover ceremony, representatives of families expressed their delight when receiving the new, spacious houses of gratidue: Ms. Pham Thi Em (Hamlet 9, Thanh Hoa Commune); Ms. Le Thi Yen (75 years old, Thanh Binh town)
Ms. Yen’s new house is constructed with a budget of more than VND 70 million. In addition to VND 50 million supported by EVNSPC, the Fund for the poor in the locality mobilized VND 13 million from the public, Thanh Binh Town People’s Committee further raised VND 8.8 million to complete such a spacious house.
Also at the handover ceremony, EVNSPC, Binh Phuoc Power Company and the local authorities also donated money and household items to 10 households.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hop - Chairman and General Director of EVNSPC shared the delight with people welcoming new homes. Annually, EVNSPC constructs more than 200 houses of love, gratitude, teammate and many social projects in 21 Southern provinces and cities. On this occasion of receiving donated houses, he also wished the people have shelter for life, the houses are preserved and facilitate people to develop rural economy and stabilize their life.
Mr. Doan Tien Dung - Secretary of Party Committee of Tan Tien Commune said that 10 households donated with gratitude houses were in very difficult circumstances. For them, these gratitude houses would motivate them to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
On the same day, EVNSPC’s delegation visited and donated 600 notebooks to pupils of Ethnic Boarding High school - Loc Ninh Secondary school; visited, gave presents as well as wished good health to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Tran Thi Nuoi (99 years old; Loc Tan Commune, Loc Ninh District, Binh Phuoc Province).
