Facing the very complicated situation of the COVID-19 pandemic in Ho Chi Minh City, the Party Committee of the Grassroots sector of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Ho Chi Minh City has requested organizations under the sector to support funding, installing oxygen supply and vacuum systems for 504 hospital beds at the COVID-19 Emergency Resuscitation Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.
With the efforts of contractors, the active support of the technical force of the Power Service Company (EPS - under EVNGENCO 3), after only 10 days for implementing all the activities including survey, design, construction and installation, etc. the project has been officially put into operation.
Following this activity, EVNSPC, EVNGENCO 3, PECC 2 and other sponsors in the sector are going to continue funding and constructing oxygen and compressed air systems at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ho Chi Minh City, to serve the treatment of severe and critical COVID-19 patients with a scale of about 300 - 500 beds.
In the context of the complicated pandemic situation, despite facing many difficulties and having a significant impact on production and business activities, EVNSPC, EVNGENCO 3, PECC 2 have been making efforts to overcome difficulties, in parallel joining hands and unanimously sharing difficulties with the health sector, local people and local authorities with a series of practical and concrete actions.
