How does digital transformation help EVNSPC improve operational efficiency?

Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) aims to become a digital enterprise by 2025 according to the Digital Transformation Project of Vietnam Electricity (EVN).

Completing digital transformation in many fields

EVNSPC General Director Nguyen Phuoc Duc said that in the period of 2021-2022, the corporation has completed the digital transformation in 5 key areas, including Internal governance; Engineering and safety; Construction investment; Business, customer service, and Telecommunications, Information technology, and digital infrastructure.

In particular, EVNSPC has used the Digital Office system as the center to change the operating method, leadership style, working process, and corporate culture in the entire corporation.

In the field of Engineering and Safety, EVNSPC has used power and grid technical management software to centrally manage issues related to power outages, electrical materials, and the operation of the high-voltage grid. The Corporation has also updated and perfected PMIS software for smart grids with 1.7 million digitized records of grid equipment and stations.

Also in 2022, the corporation has nearly 562,000 customers participating in level-4 online transactions, reaching a rate of nearly 100%. All new contracts are powered by electronic sales contracts, with more than 563,000 e-signing requests performed. The customer service system through the National Public Service Portal received more than 345,000 requests, with a completion rate of nearly 99%. As of December 2022, the number of e-contracts reached more than 5.6 million contracts. Applications such as customer care (customer care) through the Customer Care App and Zalo have achieved a growth rate of about 13-16% quarterly.

Creating added value for customers

According to EVNSPC General Director Nguyen Phuoc Duc, in the next period from 2023 to 2025, EVNSPC will continue to perform digital transformation tasks, in which 29 tasks in the above-mentioned key areas will be implemented.

The implementation of digital transformation has helped EVNSPC save time, reduce costs and increase efficiency in system management and operation. At the same time, it also opens up new opportunities and creates added value for customers of EVNSPC.
