Mr. Nguyen Huu Duc - Deputy Director of the Technical - Operation Department of EVN presenting a report at the workshop
Through the workshop, the leader of EVN asked member units to review and re-assess regulations and principles on load control, load cutting due to overload, low voltage in relevant circulars, regulations and guidelines; listing, evaluating modes and reactive power control ability of renewable energy sources.
In addition, evaluating the reactive power demand of the entire national power system in the period of 2022 - 2025, and developing a response plan. Assessing and monitoring the compliance with a power factor of electricity users and customers using transmission grids.
Developing a project to analyze and assess load characteristics by voltage/frequency, forecasting reactive power demand of each customer group by province/city power company in the period of 2022 - 2025. Expeditiously implementing projects of installing horizontal capacitors at 220kV and 110kV substations which have been approved by competent authorities, in accordance with legal regulations and the planned energizing schedule.
