In 2018, EVNSPC secured power supply to 21 Southern provinces and cities with the commercial power output of 66.6 billion kWh, an increase of 10.51% compared to that of 2017. Among the distribution corporations under EVN, that is the 2nd highest output level (only after Northern Power Corporation).
The corporation properly met the criterion of power loss (4.39%, 0.11% higher than the planed target assigned by EVN). For the reliability of power supply, in the period 2015-2018, the SAIDI (System Average Interruption Duration Index) of EVNSPC decreased by 30-40% every year. Its SAIDI result in 2018 is 598.2 minutes, 32% lower than that of 2017.

In 2019, with many difficulties and challenges ahead, Chairman of Member Council, Mr. Duong Quang Thanh requires EVNSPC to synchronously perform solutions for ensuring safe and stable power supply to its customers.
The corporation needs to proactively work with the local authorities in the area under its management, in which, particularly emphasizing on solutions for saving power and developing load regulation plans to be performed in case of necessity.
EVNSPC needs to achieve the important indicators of power loss, reliability of power supply, customer satisfaction 1 year ealier than the preset target in the 5-year plan of 2016-2020; at the same time, selecting a group of power companies to assign targets equivalent to that of ASEAN Top 4 in 2019.
Additionally, in 2019, the group’s leaders also require EVNSPC to install solar power roof systems with the capacity of at least 13MWp to the headquarters of its member units; stimulate customers to install the same system with the capacity of 95MWp, contributing to reducing peak capacity in peak hours.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Duc - EVNSPC Deputy General Director said, in 2018 many successes in the business of the corporation were marked. The quality of customer service continued changing properly with the customer satisfaction level of 8.16 points (0.11 points higher than the target in the plan assigned by EVN).
The corporation proactively arranged capital sources to invest in supplying power to more than 4,500 households in the area without electricity in the provinces with a total investment of nearly VND 170 billion. Up to now, 100% of communes in 21 Southern provinces and cities have been supplied with power, with the rate of power-supplied rural households of 99.48%.
Some targets of EVNSPC in 2019:
- Commercial power: 73.2 billion kWh, an increase of 9.91% compared to that of 2018.
- Power supply reliability: SAIDI: 528 minutes, SAIFI: 5.33 times, MAIFI: 2.0 times.
- Customer satisfaction level: higher than 8.16 points
- Labour productivity:
+ Calculated based on commercial electricity output: 3.58 million kWh/labour;
+ Calculated based on customer number: 397 customers/labour.
- Construction investment value: VND 9,735 billion; VND 8,785 billion out of which shall be net investment for power grid.
