Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung highly appreciated KOSPO’s experiences and expected that the Corporation would cooperate with Vietnamese enterprises in developing power projects
Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that Vietnam always create favorable conditions for foreign investors, including those from the RoK, to make effective investments in the country. According to the Deputy PM, the power industry is one of the important sectors being prioritized for investment attraction, the power demand for economic development is increasingly growing whereas investment resources are limited. To this end, the Deputy PM proposed that KOSPO should work closely with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, relevant organizations and businesses in order to promptly choose projects and investment modes best suited to capabilities as well as conditions and requirements of the Vietnamese market, and submit them to the competent authorities for approval.
For his part, KOSPO CEO Yoon Jong Keun affirmed that as one of the five largest power supplier in the RoK with 40 year experience in the power industry, KOSPO is very interested in cooperating with Vietnamese enterprises to develop power generation projects.
