Rotor of power unit No.4 of Trung Son Hydropower Plant was successfully installed at 8h08 am on May 9, 2017
The generator rotor of power unit No.4 of Trung Son Hydropower Project weighs 250 ton and has a diameter of 7.5 m. Before installing the rotor, contractors had completed installation of turbines, stators, bridge cranes, lifting equipment system, insulation experiments, etc.
Right after the rotor of power unit No. 4 was successfully installed, Trung Son Hydropower Project Management Board has requested the contractors to focus on completing all the remaining project items on schedule with a view to putting the last power unit into operation in June 2017, so that the entire project can “reach the final destination” by August 2017.
