The Energy Efficiency Awards are held annually to recognize and honor enterprises operating in industrial production and typical construction works implementing economical and efficient electric use solutions. At the same time, the Awards promote and encourage businesses to implement advanced management and technology solutions to bring to market products with outstanding technical features, high energy efficiency, and energy saving. The awards are expected to contribute more to mitigating climate change and achieving the target of moving towards carbon neutrality by 2050 as committed by the Vietnamese Government in responding to climate change.
The awards are expected to contribute to the target of achieving energy savings of 8-10% in the period from 2019 to 2030 of the National Program on economical and efficient energy use in the period 2019 - 2030.
The time for receiving applications to participate in the awards starts from 25 September 2024 to 30 November 2024. After the application period ends, the Award Technical Council will evaluate and select works, products, and businesses that meet the award criteria. The Organizing Committee will accept applications in both paper and electronic formats, and create maximum support for business in submitting applications for the award. The announcement and award ceremony is expected to take place in December 2024.
