Of the 15 projects that have been approved by MOIT with temporary prices, there are 3 solar power projects and 7 wind power plants on land, and 5 wind power plants on the sea.
In addition, there are currently 4 projects that have been agreed by EVN and investors on temporary prices and are being considered and approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

According to Mr. Tran Viet Hoa - Director of the Electricity Regulatory Authority, this result is a positive signal, showing the negotiation efforts of EVN and the investors of the transitional renewable energy project, in the spirit of harmonizing the interests of the parties under the direction of the Prime Minister.
According to Power Trading Company, the company has received records for 37/85 transitional renewable energy projects. The company has organized to work with 24 investors with full records. For 9 investors which the records are incomplete and need to clarify some legal issues of the project, the Power Trading Company has asked the investor to supplement the missing documents and clarify the related problem. In addition, the company is reviewing the records of 4 projects.
However, out of 20 projects that the Power Trading Company and investors have agreed on a temporary price, only 16 projects have been granted electricity activity licenses by the MOIT.
Mr. Tran Viet Hoa - Director of the Electricity Regulatory Authority said that electricity licensing is a precondition specified in the Electricity Law so that power projects in general and transitional renewable energy projects can be mobilized to generate electricity to the grid. Therefore, investors need to send full records to prove that the project has fully complied with the provisions of the law, to soon be granted an electricity activity license, to put these projects into operation.
15 transitional renewable energy projects have been approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade with temporary prices, including VPL Ben Tre, Nam Binh 1, Yang Trung, Cho Long, Hung Hai Gia Lai, Hanbaram, Lac Hoa 2, Hoa Dong 2, Phu My 1, Phu My 3, Vien An, Trung Nam Thuan Nam 450MW, Huong Hiep 1, Tan Phu Dong, Hiep Thanh.
