More than 87% of EVNNPC customers pay for electricity in non-cash form

Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) said that as of May 2024, the rate of customers paying electricity bills in non-cash form reached 87.58%, 0.45% higher than EVN's target assigned in 2024; revenue through non-cash payment channels reached 97.11%.

In May 2024, EVNNPC's commercial electricity output reached 8.639 billion kWh, an increase of 18.44% compared to that of May 2023. Accumulated in the first 5 months of 2024, commercial products reached 38.393 billion kWh, up 14.09% over the same period and reaching 40.44% of the whole year plan as assigned by EVN.

Regarding customer service business, the entire Corporation has received and resolved power supply for 215 medium-voltage customers, the average time to resolve procedures for the electricity industry is 3.26 days, a decrease of 0.22 days compared to that of the same period in 2023. Accumulated in the first 5 months of 2024, the entire Corporation supplied power to 927 medium-voltage customers, the average time to resolve procedures of the electricity industry is 3.32 days, a decrease of 0.19 days compared to that of the same period in 2023, a decrease of 3.68 days compared to that specified in EVN's regulations.

The Corporation continues to implement well the Prime Minister's directive on enhancing electricity saving in the period 2023 - 2025 and the following years; ensure effective supply and economical use of electricity in the dry season of 2024. At the same time, it is required to strictly control index recording and invoice issuance during the hot season, avoiding errors for customers.
