More than 95% of EVN customers pay for electricity in non-cash form

In the first 6 months of 2024, the proportion of EVN customers paying for electricity in non-cash form reached 95.59%, 0.71% higher than that in 2023. This is a great effort made by EVN in implementing its policy. Non-cash payments follow the direction of the Government, practically bringing benefits to people and businesses.

The percentage of electricity bills paid in non-cash forms in the first 6 months of EVN has reached 99.01%, 0.69% higher than that in 2023.

Some modern forms of payment favored by electricity customers include Authorized collection, authorized payment, automatic debt deduction, SMS - mobile banking, e-wallet, etc. These are forms of payment by the method of “touching less” but “increasing experience, increasing convenience”. Currently, customers just need to "surf" the website and application (app) of the Electricity Sector and EVN's payment partners to immediately perform tasks as needed.

EVN has cooperated with banks and intermediary payment organizations to constantly create many utilities, and at the same time, present many attractive promotions and gifts to customers when paying in the "digital space".

In addition, EVN has built a modern technology platform to serve the payment needs of customers nationwide. In recent years, EVN has continuously improved with the application of electronic contracts, integrated connection with the National Public Service Portal, integrated QR-code payment, and application of electronic invoices under new regulations of the Ministry of Finance (MOF)

EVN has also built a digital ecosystem called EVNConnect, strengthening connections with digital transformation platforms of the Government, ministries, branches, localities, and partners to fully exploit national common data sources and provide electricity services as well as pay electricity bills on digital platforms.

Promoting non-cash electricity payments helps EVN modernize business, improve labor productivity, effectively manage cash flow, and increase customer satisfaction, and so on.

For customers, using online and non-cash payment methods for electricity bills brings many benefits such as Payment to be made anytime, anywhere, accurate payment to the exact amount, done quickly, saving time and travel costs; being safe, avoiding the risk of losing cash, etc. With automatic debt payment, customers do not need to remember the monthly bill payment schedule, do not worry about the power supply being stopped, and lose electricity reconnection fees due to forgetting to pay electricity bills.

EVN aims to "cover" the non-cash payment method to customers, bringing practical benefits to electricity customers nationwide.
