The MOIT said that all 305 administrative procedures at the central level under MOIT management have been implemented online at the level of 2 or higher, including 157 public services at level 3 and level 4.
In the past time, the MOIT received and processed more than 600,000 online records of public services. At the same time, 5 import-export procedures have were connected with the National “One stop shop” (OSS) mechanism (www.vnsw.gov.vn); the Plan to implement the National and ASEAN OSS mechanisms of the Ministry in the period 2017-2020 were approved.
With the task of applying IT, installing and constructing automatic meter reading (ARM), toward the construction of automatic metering system, the Electricity sector has been installing electronic meters which are capable of remote data collection instead of mechanical meters in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Up to the middle of September 2017, there have been 699,033electronic meters installed in Hanoi, accounting for 33% of the total number of customers; 563,800 ARM meters in Hanoi, accounting for 25% of the total number of customers. In Ho Chi Minh City, there have been 413,159 electric meters installed, accounting for 19% of the total number of customers; 363,632 ARM meters, accounting for 16.6% of the total number of customers.
The MOIT Trade completed the online public service of level 4 in energy labeling certificating by the end of 2016. By the end of September 2017, there were 96 enterprises registered and 256 records published online.
In accordance with Resolution 36a on e-Government, apart from MOIT’s common tasks with other ministries, sectors and localities, it is assigned two specific ones including: Applying of IT, deploying of automatic electricity meters in AMR process, toward building of AMI system, in which Hanoi and HCM City shall complete the system before 1st January 2018; power label certificating shall be implemented before 1st January 2017.
