About business and customer service:
- By the end of July 2021, the rate of customers paying power bills in the cashless form will reach 72.59%; the rate of power bills paid in cashless form throughout EVN reached 91.49%.
- Digital transformation in business - Customer care: Regarding online services, Power Corporations have deployed to provide level 4 online electricity services on the web and app; deploying service provision by electronic method; deploying the digitalized signing of contracts and re-signing of electricity purchase and sale contracts electronically for existing customers who do not have an electronic purchase and sale contracts, aiming to personalize customer care. Regarding the customer care App, the units are deploying the information infrastructure system; standardizing and unifying service delivery channels to customers of Power Corporations; redesigning the customer service websites, customer service App in a modern direction, suitable for electronic transactions and easy to use; pilot application of evaluating customer satisfaction score through customer service app.
- In the spirit of sharing with the customers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, EVN has proactively reported to the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Industry and Trade for permission to reduce electricity prices and reduce electricity bills for the fourth phase. According to preliminary estimates, the total amount of reduced electricity price and reduced electricity bill of this phase is about VND 2,500 billion.
Regarding construction investment: In the 7 months of 2021, 70 power grid projects have been commenced; completed energizing 71 110-500kV power grid projects, of which important grid projects have been energized in July 2021 including the 500kV line connecting Nghi Son 2 Thermal Power Plant, Muong Cha 110kV transformer station, increasing capacity of Thuy Nguyen 1 and Thuy Nguyen 2 110kV substations, Muong Lay - Dien Bien 110kV transmission line, etc.
Some tasks in August 2021
In August 2021, the average daily power consumption of the whole system is expected to be 756.4 million kWh/day, the largest load capacity is forecasted at 40,783MW.
Objectives of power system operation in August 2021:
- Exploiting power sources to optimally ensure hydropower - thermopower; mobilize hydropower according to the water inflow, ensure downstream water supply for localities.
- Power Generation Corporations shall ensure the highest availability of power units in the dry season months of 2022.
- Safe and reliable operation of the transmission grid, especially the North-South 500kV system.
Regarding construction investment: Striving to commence projects: Quang Trach I Thermal Power Plant in the third quarter of 2021, O Mon IV Thermal Power Plant in the fourth quarter of 2021, etc.
In addition, in August 2021, EVN continues to direct the Corporations/Power companies to fully prepare human resources and facilities, to strengthen the 24/24h response; proactively respond to natural disasters in the rainy and stormy season, ensure the safety of people, equipment, electrical works and ensure the safety of dams, hydropower plants, and downstream areas of reservoirs, etc.
