Power Access just 7.47 days ahead

During the first 6 months of 2016, EVN has made efforts to ensure sufficient supply of power for socio-economic development of the country, and simultaneously, improved quality of customer service.

According to statistics of EVN Business Department, power sales in June only of the entire EVN reached 14.44 billion kWh. Powers sales aggregated in 6 months reached 76.446 billion kWh, increasing 11.73% compared to that of the same period in 2015.

Along with maintaining stable power supply, the power corporations have provided well-performed customer services. For the first 5 months of 2016, all 14 out of 14 criteria relating customer service gave higher performance result compared to those over the same period in 2015, EVN Business Department remarked.

Specifically, 97.95% of power incidents had the power recovered within 2 hours, 100% low-voltage circuit breakers were replaced within less than 1 day and electricity bills were reimbursed within less than 3 days. The power companies have also resoled 38,500 customer complaints about meter reading and power supply with an average resolving time of 1.31 days, etc.

Notifications of non-emergency stop, reduction of power supply were sent to 99.46% of customers; notifications of emergency stop, reduction of power supply were received by 99.91% of customers, which supported customers in arranging their production plans and living activities.

Besides, the power corporations have proactively collaborated with EVNICT to efficiently exploit systems of information technology software such as CMIS 2.0, electronic electricity bills, finishing power loss module on CMIS 2.0, etc.

Another highlight in power service during the first 6 months of 2016 was that EVN has actively improved power access index. Specifically, requests of 2,512 customers for connecting to medium-voltage power grid were fulfilled within 7.47 days in average. This result showed the determination and efforts of the EVN to improve the power access index contributing to enhance national competitiveness capability in accordance with Resolution No.19 of the Government.
