This is also one of the important activities to celebrate the 69th anniversary of the Vietnam Power Sector Traditional Day (21 December 1954 – 21 December 2022) and actively respond to the implementation of the annual program "Customer Gratitude Month - December 2023" of EVN.
The voluntary blood donation program held on December 5, 2023, at the headquarters of Vietnam Electricity, took place very seriously, as planned for each participating unit. Starting with nearly 530 units of blood collected to be used for patients, especially pediatric patients being treated at the National Institute of Hematology - Blood Transfusion. Following that, in turn, member units of Vietnam Electricity across the country jointly organized to respond to blood donations according to the planned program of The 9th EVN Pink Week.

Over the past 8 years, with 9 consecutive times of organizing the program, EVN Pink Week has become a familiar cultural feature, and the number of responded Power Sector officials and employees has increased each year. After only 05 days of launching, nearly 12,000 EVN officials and employees nationwide volunteered to donate blood. However, some localities such as provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region have issued documents rescheduling the receipt of voluntary blood donations until Lunar New Year 2023 due to blood in reserve is enough. For that reason, the actual number of blood units received by "blood banks" nationwide from the 9th EVN Pink Week program is 9,869 blood units. Thus, after 9 years of organizing the EVN Pink Week program, the total number of blood units collected is 83,270 units.
