Results of the 8th EVN Pink Week voluntary blood donation program

From 5 to 11 December 2022, Vietnam Electricity (EVN) in collaboration with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (NIHBT) and medical facilities across the country successfully organized The 8th EVN Pink Week. This is a humanitarian blood donation program launched in the whole Power sector, with the message "Ten thousand hearts - One heart". At the same time, it is also one of the important activities to celebrate the 68th anniversary of the Vietnam Power sector Traditional Day (21 December 1954 – 21 December 2022) and actively respond to the implementation of the annual program "Customer Gratitude Month - December 2022" of EVN.

The launching ceremony of the voluntary blood donation program, the 8th EVN Pink Week, on the morning of December 6, 2022, at the headquarters of Vietnam Electricity took place very seriously, as planned for each participating unit. Starting with nearly 300 units of blood collected to be used for patients, especially pediatric patients being treated at the National Institute of Hematology - Blood Transfusion. Following that, in turn, member units of Vietnam Electricity across the country jointly organized to respond to blood donation according to the planned program.

Thanks to the extensive propaganda and very active advocacy of EVN, the number of employees in the Power sector who responded to participating increased year by year. During the 8th EVN Pink Week, the actual amount of blood donated for the nationwide "blood bank" was 9,259 blood units.
