The project of Vinh Hao 220kV substation and 220kV connection line is located in Vinh Hao commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province, invested by Vietnam Electricity, and managed by Power Project Management Board No.2 on behalf of the project owner EVN. This is an unmanned substation, with two 220kV - 250MVA transformers. The 220kV connection line is about 1.3km long.
Package No.3 is the main package of the project. The awarded bidder is a consortium of Telematic Joint Stock Company - 3C Control Communication Computer Joint Stock Company - Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company No.4 - TOSHIBA Transmission and Distribution Systems (Vietnam) Ltd. - Alphanam E&C Joint Stock Company.
The parties signed the contract
The project is invested and built with the goal of strengthening the transmission grid capacity, absorbing power of renewable energy sources in Binh Thuan province and neighboring provinces, ensuring reliable operation of Phan Ri – Ninh Phuoc 110kV transmission line under N-1. The project is expected to be completed and energized in the third quarter of 2022.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien - Deputy Director of Power Project Management Board No.2, Director of the Project Implementation Unit said: Aware of the importance of this bidding package, on the basis of the project's contractor selection plan approved by Vietnam Electricity, Power Project Management Board No.2 has executed bidding and bid evaluation according to current regulations, followed the required procedures, ensured fairness and transparency in bid evaluation. The consortium of contractors is composed of organizations with extensive experience in implementing EVN's power projects. Completing the contractor selection and signing the contract of Package No.03 of the project is of particular importance in the gantt chart of the project.
