Son La province: More than 1,100 households have access to the national power grid

On 16 May 2020, Son La Department of Industry and Trade in collaboration with Son La Power Company affixed a name board of power supply works in Na Bo and Muong Bang communes (Mai Son district), to welcome the 15th Son La Party Congress, term  2020-2025.

The power supply project for Na Bo and Muong Bang communes under the rural power supply project from the national power grid in Son La province in the 2016-2020 period, was invested by Son La Department of Industry and Trade with a total investment capital of over VND26 billion. Son La Power Company provided consultancy, management and supervision of this project.

Started in November 2019, the project had a scale of installation of 11.5km of 35kV medium voltage power line; ten 35/0.4kV substations and 34.7km of 0.4kV low voltage power line, ensuring power supply for 1,116 households of villages of two communes Na Bo and Muong Bang.

The work contributes to creating a motive for hunger eradication and poverty reduction, improving the material and spiritual life of the people and raising the percentage of households in the province accessed to the national power grid to 96.4%.
