This project aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishment of EVNNPC (October 6, 1969 - October 6, 2019), 90th anniversary of establishment of Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2019) and 65th anniversary of tradition day of Vietnam Revolutionary Power Sector (December 21, 1954 – December 21, 2019).
Delegates performed the symbolic act to start construction
The project has a total investment cost of VND 89 billion, building a new 70m double-circuit 110kV transmission line; a new 110/35/22kV Bao Yen Substation with 02 transformers (40 + 63)MVA, in the first phase, the 40MVA transformer will be installed. The substation will be connected to the remote control center of Lao Cai Power Company.
It is expected that the project will be put into operation at the beginning of the 3rd quarter in 2019. Upon completion, the project will promptly meet the local electricity demand in general, especially for industrial loads in Bao Yen district and its surrounding areas. Thereby, it will contribute to attracting domestic and foreign businesses to invest in the region.
The construction of Bao Yen 110kV substation will supplement a safe, uninterrupted and stable quality source of electricity, satisfying the local electricity demand, creating favorable conditions for local economic development and facilitating local people and local companies’ businesses activities.
