The major overhaul of unit H3 of Lai Chau Hydropower Plant is completed ahead of schedule, ready to deal with the coming hot season

Unit H3 of Lai Chau Hydropower Plant was re-energized at 21:20 on 5 April 2022, after nearly 20 days of shutting down for a major overhaul. The major overhaul was completed 1 day ahead of schedule.

As planned, the unit overhaul were being implemented from 18 March 2022 to 6 April 2022.

Son La Hydropower Company and EVN Power Service Center (in Son La) completed the overhaul work, testing, repair, maintenance, and equipment replacement 1 day ahead of schedule, ensuring safety, progress and quality of the overhaul work.

This is a significant joint effort of the employees of the two units, and at the same time demonstrates the spirit of safe adaptation, flexibility and creativity.
