Power companies actively promote electricity bill non-cash payment methods to customers
Besides, the rate of customers paying electricity bills without cash in the first 6 months of 2022 reached 89.43%, 6.54% higher than in 2021.
Currently, non-cash payment channels/methods are very diverse such as collection authorization - payment authorization, e-wallet, automatic debit, ATM/Bank cards, Internet Banking, Mobile money, QRCode, payment via customer care app/websites of power corporations, National Public Service Portal, etc.
EVN and power corporations have also cooperated with banks and intermediary partners to collect electricity bills, creating many collection points convenient to customers such as bank transaction offices, convenience stores, supermarkets, phone shops, ATM locations, etc.
In addition, EVN has also expanded cooperation with the partners to implement a program of refunds when paying electricity bills via e-wallets, customer care apps/websites, giving discount codes and gifts to customers when paying electricity bills online, etc.
