Officially connected to the national power grid in 2008, up to now, the total power output of Tuyen Quang Hydropower Plant has produced over 18 billion kWh. During that time, there were 6 years that the production surpassed the designed output (over 1.3 billion kWh). In 2020 alone, the company achieved a record output of 1.609 billion kWh (equivalent to 121% of the designed output). The total payment value to the state budget so far is more than VND 2,700 billion, of which the total payment to the state budget in Tuyen Quang province is more than VND 2,192 billion.
Since being put into operation, the plant has also regulated more than 14 billion m3 of water to serve the winter-spring crop, regulated and discharged more than 14 billion m3 of water according to the operation process, ensuring safe flood control for the project and the downstream.
