On 19 May 2022, in Hanoi, the EVN Trade Union held a summary of ten years of Workers' Month implementation in the 2012-2022 period. Many highlights and outstanding results in the past ten years have been highly appreciated by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) and the Party Committee of EVN.
Creative labor has become a typical cultural feature
Over the past ten years, the programs in the Workers' Month of the EVN Trade Union have been organized very practically and bringing high efficiency. The EVN Trade Union, grassroots trade unions and authorities at all levels have listened to and promptly resolved the thoughts and recommendations of employees; promptly praise and reward typically advanced labors. Most recently, in the signed 2021 Collective Labor Agreement, there are 37 points more favorable to employees.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Dung - Member of the Presidium, Head of the Finance Department of the VGCL highly appreciated the activities of the EVN Trade Union in the Workers' Month period 2012 - 2022.
Most recently, the program "01 million initiatives to overcome difficulties, be creative and determined to win the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic" launched by the VGCL and the "10,000 initiatives" plan in Vietnam Electricity of EVN Trade Union has attracted a large number of union members and employees from all over EVN to actively participate. Up to now, EVN Trade Union has over 2,000 initiatives and solutions to participate in and expects that at the end of phase 1 (on 31 May 2022) will achieve 100% of the target assigned by the VGCL in phase 1.
Mr. Duong Quang Thanh - Secretary of the EVN Party Committee and Chairman of the EVN Member Board highly appreciated the creative labor movement among employees in the Power sector.
From 2012 to 2021, in Workers' Month, trade unions at all levels successfully held nearly 300 conferences praising typically advanced labors, focusing on workers and workers directly in production. In the past 10 years, there have been 5,368 excellent workers at the grassroots level being praised and rewarded with a total amount of over VND 6.2 billion.
Creativity, innovation
Chairman of the EVN Trade Union Do Duc Hung affirmed that the EVN Trade Union will strongly innovate in the coming period.
The EVN Trade Union and grassroots trade unions need to continue to maintain and promote patriotic emulation movements, which focus on the "Excellent Labor - Creative Labor" movement, closely following and effectively organizing the "One million initiatives" program associated with digital transformation in EVN to soon help EVN complete its goal of becoming a digital enterprise by 2025, in which digital transformation basically completed in 2022.
