Vietnam Electricity Trade Union works with All-Russian Electricity Trade Union

On the afternoon of October 22, in Hanoi, the working delegation of the All-Russian Electricity Trade Union led by Mr. Murushkin Aleksandr - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union had a working session with the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union.

Attending the working session, on behalf of Vietnam Electricity (EVN) was Mr. Pham Hong Phuong - Vice President of EVN. On behalf of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union were Mr. Do Duc Hung - Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union; Vice Chairmen of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union: Ms. Nguyen Kim Thanh and Ms. Dinh Thi Thanh Binh, and representatives of the departments of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union.

At the working session, the Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union Do Duc Hung affirmed the good relationship over the past 19 years between the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union and the All-Russian Electricity Trade Union. The two sides regularly exchange experiences in trade union activities and send delegations to exchange and learn from each other.

Mr. Murushkin Aleksandr, Vice President of the All-Russian Electricity Trade Union, desires to promote cooperation and develop further the relationship between the two trade unions.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed and shared experiences on the trade union operation model; caring for and protecting workers' rights activities; working conditions and environment, policies and regimes; ensuring workers' safety; difficulties and challenges in digital transformation implementation, etc.

The two sides also discussed the development situation of the Electricity industry in Vietnam and Russia. EVN Vice President Pham Hong Phuong informed the delegation about the scale of Vietnam's power system in general, EVN in particular, as well as EVN's development orientation in the coming time.

Through the working session, the two trade unions enhanced mutual understanding, and maintained and promoted a sustainable relationship between the two sides.
