Vietnam Electricity supports Lai Chau province with VND 2.5 billion to build houses for poor households

On 11 November, comrade Nguyen Xuan Phuc - Politburo member, State President, and the Central Committee's working delegation attended the Great National Solidarity Festival in inter-residential areas of communes: Muong So, Hoang Then, Khong Lao (Phong Tho district, Lai Chau province) and launched the support program to build houses for poor households. At the program event, Vietnam Electricity Group supported Lai Chau province with the amount of VND 2.5 billion for the program.

On this occasion, Chairman of EVN’s Member Board Duong Quang Thanh presented VND 2.5 billion of EVN to support the construction of houses for poor households in Lai Chau province.

Speaking at the festival, State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc recognized and praised the achievements and positive development made by Lai Chau province, Phong Tho district and 3 communes: Hoang Then, Muong So, Khong Lao. The State President requested Lai Chau province, in the coming time, to closely follow up and listen to the people, promote mass mobilization to propagate the implementation of new rural construction; well implement President Ho Chi Minh's instructions to cadres and ethnic people of Lai Chau.
