The project is implemented at block A5 and block A6 in Long My solid waste treatment area, Phuoc My commune, Quy Nhon city. The total estimated investment is at least VND 1,500 billion (may be higher, depending on the technology and equipment of the investor).

The expected land area to be used is 100,400m2 (this is the maximum area for building the plant, not including the land area for the power line connecting the plant to the national power grid, and the connecting traffic system. The location for fly ash treatment is implemented according to regulations and according to the investor's proposal); priority is given to investors who propose economical and effective land use.

The design capacity of the plant is 500 tons of domestic solid waste/day and night with a capacity of 15MW of electricity generation as prescribed in Table 7 of the List of additional waste-to-energy projects, which are updated and issued under Decision No. 1682/QD-TTg dated December 28, 2024, of the Government on approving the addition and update of the Plan for implementing the National Power Development Plan for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.

The service scope is Quy Nhon city, An Nhon township, Tuy Phuoc district, and part of Van Canh district. In the long term, the volume of domestic solid waste will be increased based on actual needs and the service scope will be expanded according to the Solid Waste Management Plan of Binh Dinh province for the period 2023 - 2025, with a vision to 2030 and the Planning of Binh Dinh province for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.

Project implementation progress: no more than 2 years from the date of investor selection results.
