During the meeting, the two sides exchanged updates on ENERTRAG's operations in Vietnam, the progress of several wind power projects, and potential cooperation in the field of renewable energy.

At the meeting, Ms. Vu Thi Duong, Country Director of ENERTRAG Vietnam, provided an update on the development of several wind power projects being jointly developed by the company and its partners in northern Vietnam, including the Bac Giang 1 and Bac Giang 2 projects. She expressed the company's hope to continue receiving support and close coordination from EVN and relevant stakeholders throughout the implementation of these projects.

ENERTRAG also shared its intention to further expand its presence in Vietnam, particularly in the areas of integrated renewable energy systems and green hydrogen.

Vice President Nguyen Dinh Phuoc welcomed ENERTRAG's continued interest in Vietnam's energy market and shared information on the country's power system development orientation, as well as key requirements applicable to power generation projects.

He noted that EVN and its affiliated units would continue to cooperate and exchange information with ENERTRAG on matters within their respective responsibilities and in accordance with applicable regulations. He also encouraged the company to further complete the necessary legal and technical documentation and to maintain close coordination with the relevant authorities and stakeholders during project implementation.

ENERTRAG is a German renewable energy company with nearly 30 years of experience in wind power, solar power, power grids, and integrated energy systems. The company has been operating in Vietnam since 2020 and is currently developing a number of renewable energy projects in line with the objectives of the National Power Development Plan VIII (PDP VIII).
