EVN Vice President Nguyen Dinh Phuoc meets with board member of Landesbank Baden–Württemberg (Germany) to discuss energy financing cooperation

On the morning of January 15 in Hanoi, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Phuoc – Vice President of Vietnam Electricity (EVN) – held a working session with Mr. Anastasios Agathagelidis – Member of the Board of Directors of Landesbank Baden–Württemberg (LBBW), Germany, to explore cooperation potential and opportunities between the two parties

During the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Phuoc provided an overview of EVN’s operations and development strategy. He emphasized that mobilising investment capital for power generation and transmission projects remains a critical and urgent priority for EVN to meet the nation’s growing electricity demand. EVN expressed its interest in collaborating with LBBW in financing key infrastructure and energy projects of the Group.

Mr. Anastasios Agathagelidis – Member of the Board of Directors of LBBW – expressed his strong impression and high appreciation for EVN’s role in ensuring electricity supply to support the country’s socio-economic development.
With extensive experience in financing energy projects worldwide, the Member of the Board of Directors of LBBW also expressed a strong desire to accompany and support EVN in implementing its upcoming key energy projects.
Both sides agreed to maintain ongoing dialogue in the time ahead.
