At the meeting, Mr. Tran Cuong - Chairman of DEC International affirmed that Vietnam is one of DEC's key markets in the region. According to the DEC leader, with their strengths as an equipment manufacturer and EPC general contractor, DEC International has been promoting the shift towards the trending clean energy development with advanced technologies. DEC International wishes to accompany EVN in the coming time, not only through sharing experiences and two-way information exchange but also together seeking cooperation opportunities in line with the development orientation of Vietnam's electricity industry.

EVN’s Vice President Pham Hong Phuong highly appreciated DEC's capacity and experience, and shared information about the market and major orientations in the development of the electricity industry in Vietnam, especially in the context of the expected rapid increase in electricity demand to serve the target of double-digit economic growth rate. EVN’s Vice President Pham Hong Phuong said that EVN wishes to maintain and expand the cooperation relationship with DEC - an experienced partner - through enhancing technical exchanges, sharing experiences, and seeking opportunities for mutual development in areas where both sides have strengths.

The two sides agreed to maintain regular exchanges, enhance cooperation in operating and developing power projects, and seek new solutions to contribute to ensuring energy security and sustainable development in Vietnam.
