Hanoi Power Corporation (EVNHANOI) has just been rated "BB+/Stable" for 2025 by Fitch Ratings - the international credit rating organization.

Recently, Fitch Ratings published its credit rating report for the power corporations under EVN. Accordingly, EVNHANOI continues to maintain its BB+ rating with a stable outlook, reflecting confidence in its operational and governance capabilities and its important role in the national power system.

EVNHANOI is strengthening application of technology to modernize power grid.

The report notes that EVNHANOI's power supply has always been ensured to be safe and continuous, meeting the socio-economic development needs of Hanoi.

At the same time, Fitch Ratings highly appreciates EVNHANOI's orientation towards modernizing the power grid, strengthening the application of technology, and improving customer service quality in recent times. The ranking results of Fitch Ratings demonstrate the stability, transparency, and efficiency of EVNHANOI's operations, and reflect the confidence of international organizations in Vietnam's electricity sector.

This is the sixth consecutive year that EVNHANOI has achieved positive results working with Fitch Ratings, affirming the Corporation's reputation and financial capacity in the market. The credit rating is not only a significant milestone for 2025 but also creates a solid foundation for EVNHANOI to gradually become completely self-reliant in raising capital to serve future investment projects through various sources, including the international capital market and the issuance of long-term bonds.

Fitch Ratings is one of the world's three leading credit rating agencies, alongside Moody's and Standard & Poor's, with offices in New York, London, and Singapore. Fitch's ratings are based on a range of factors such as debt type, sensitivity to interest rate fluctuations, business environment, regulatory framework, and support level by the government.
